So much happening in the world at the same time period. Where to be? Reliving the past at a wild west show or Tombstone? To the lions of tsavo to the first Kodak camera. The Irish potato famine had ended and in a few years, designs for the Titanic would be realized. Just amazing! I love history, particularly the old west. It amazes me how other areas were rising or falling at the same time. Now we sit around and WATCH past history instead of being a part of its development lol.

This episode says that Brigham Young’s involvement is still a matter of debate, then goes on to quote what would seem to be a pretty extreme position given the still debatable nature of the issue. Then the other side is not given. If you are doing history rather than rumormongering you should give both sides of you give one.

I’m an Australian but a historian at heart and it was a brilliant series to listen to. The narrator is engaging and seems unbiased in the reporting. The historical accuracy and unknown information was brilliant. I am looking into it still but the only newspaper references in Australia all seem to date from the 1890s. Which showed just how slow word travelled in that era. Thankyou again

You have certainly done your homework, and turned the Donner Party story into a highly interesting and understandable event in American history.I also noticed you mostly stay away from controversial events that have been perpetuated for decades, which I particularly like. Between you and a book I have recently read "Salt and Snow", many parts of the story are filled in by one or the other's research, or have left it open for further discussion. Keep up the good work!

It's quite literally disgusting the way society is today. Everyone is so obedient and dependent on the daddy-government. Billy the kid at his young age, was more of a man than these so-called grown men in todays western society. Humanity will continue to free willingly suffer until everyone collectively wakes up and comes back together and fights back by ANY means necessary. Until then, humanity gets exactly what it deserves.

I had heard alot about the hoo-doo War but didnt know the details,,,,,,Mason has alot of History,,,,Comanche's, Apache's, Kiowa's,,,,,Robert E Lee and the Ranger's. There is still a Keller's Store and he has a dang Good Hamburger and other food. I didnt know Johnny Ringo was here,,,,,,,,,i have Comanche creek thru my Ranch and have found arrow heads,,,a really cool fleshing rock and a friend,,,a German friend found a Huge perfect Lance head,,,,,,he offered to give it to me since it was my Ranch, i declined and said the best thing about this is reaching down and picking it up knowing a Comanche Warrior was the last to touch it,,,,,,,it was so cool,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks for the stories again,,,,,,,,keep em coming !!!!!!!
